Posters

Registered participants will have the opportunity to display posters on their genomics and society research and/or related work, along the themes of ‘Re-inventing Life’ and ‘Keeping up’ as part of our poster competition.

The posters will displayed for the duration of the conference with a dedicated poster session from 9.30am – 10.00am on Tuesday 28th October 2008. A £100 book token will be awarded to the winners at the end of the poster session.

How to register your poster:
To apply for a poster board, you need to email the abstract and title of your poster to Marlene Gordon - m.gordon@open.ac.uk by Friday 26th September 2008.

Selection guidelines:
The programme committee hope to display every poster but space is limited. If not all posters can be accommodated, the programme committee will judge the poster applications on their relevance to the themes of ‘Re-inventing Life’ and ‘Keeping up’.

You will be notified of the programme committee’s decision by Friday 2nd October 2008

Design considerations:
The poster boards are 1.4m wide and 2m high. We will supply Velcro and drawing pins. The University of Leicester have produced an online poster tutorial and other step by step guides which you may find useful: www2.le.ac.uk/offices/ssds/slc/help-with/posters
